Futurama Sex
Bender wasn't there. Not even a single shiny metal ass card to flip over, what kind of sick joke is this. You get Fry, sure, the dumb looking one with the red jacket and the expression like he just forgot his own name. But the whole thing is basically "remember where Amy's tits went" the game, with some Leela thrown in when you get further. And honestly the art looks like someone drew it on a napkin during a boring shift, which is fine, that's part of the charm I guess. The proportions are weird, Amy's head is huge in one card and normal in another, like her skull is inflating between rounds. I spent way too long staring at one specific card because I couldn't tell if it was her elbow or something else entirely. The game itself is that memory match thing you'd show a toddler with a concussion. Click squares, they flip, ooh a picture, find the twin. But the grid keeps getting bigger and the timer starts breathing down your neck. Round three was like six pairs, no problem. Round eight I'm sweating, clicking the same wrong card three times because my brain turned to pudding. The difficulty curve is less of a curve and more of a wall you run face-first into. And the pictures you unlock are just the same card art but bigger. No payoff except the satisfaction of a job... done? I don't even know why I kept playing. There's this one shot of Leela that you unlock pretty early, and it's just her eye. Just the one giant eye staring at you, like it's disappointed in your life choices. I kept going back to it because I couldn't stop laughing. Or maybe crying. There's no sound, the whole thing is silent like a graveyard, which makes the moment your timer hits zero and everything resets feel even more personal. Like the game itself is saying "nice try, idiot." Fry would understand. Complaining about the card placement is pointless because it's random, but I swear the Amy cards are always next to each other in the early rounds like the universe wants you to win fast so you can get punished later. And then when you fail and restart the whole thing from zero, which is a design choice that makes me want to throw my monitor, the pattern is different. Pure chaos. I wish they'd just included Zoidberg as a joke card, just a blurry mess. Missed opportunity.

Crossing Bowls Naughty Cartoons
The coin slides under the middle cup and I swear I'm tracking it perfectly, but then my eyes drift to the background art. That's the real trick here, isn't it? Not the shell game itself but what happens when you win. Or lose. Both outcomes work somehow, which is rare for these kinds of things. Usually you get punished for failure but here the "punishment" looks suspiciously like a reward. Leela's mouth doing things that would make a geometry textbook blush. The Futurama thing threw me at first. Like, why? But then you see Fry's stupid hair poking into frame during the threesome scene and it clicks. This is someone's very specific fantasy rendered with the artistic polish of a Newgrounds flash game from 2005. The animation loops are choppy in a way that circles back around to charming. Mouth movements don't quite sync with the implied action but honestly that adds something. A kind of uncanny valley effect that makes the whole thing dirtier than if it were smooth. Sound design is where my brain short circuits. There's this wet squelching noise during the oral segments that I can't decide is terrible or genius. It loops every 3 seconds. Just the same sample over and over. My neighbor probably thinks I'm watching someone unclog a drain. The background music is this generic carnival tune that gets stuck in your head against your will. I caught myself humming it at the grocery store and had to stop immediately. The king of the hill mechanic, where you're trying to track which cup hides the coin, gets genuinely difficult around round five. Not because the game is clever but because the cups move at this weird stuttery framerate that makes tracking impossible. You're basically guessing. Which means you're seeing the fail state animations more often than not. Maybe that's intentional? The anal scene unlocks after three consecutive wins and I still haven't seen it. Not for lack of trying. The threesome content is easier to access, just lose twice in a row and suddenly everyone's very friendly. Very, very friendly. Positions that would require at least two people to be double jointed. I respect the ambition even if the execution looks like someone animated it using a trackpad.
