Dark Neighborhood
Dark Neighborhood feels like someone mashed together a horny voyeur diary and a cult horror zine they found in a basement, then forgot to proofread, and I mean that in a nice way and also not nice way. The whole thing orbits this hungry god-thing that gets off on watching humans fuck, and the game never even pretends it’s classy. You’re basically dragged into his obsession as he lurks around this quiet little neighborhood that is absolutely not quiet at all. Doors look normal, windows look normal, but once you start clicking, every house hides some filthy little ritual in progress. One scene you’re peeking at the neighbour’s “innocent” afternoon visit that turns into her pinning a guy to the couch with those big soft tits bouncing in his face, next scene you’re with a tired-looking MILF in a bathrobe who clearly gave up on normal life and is just using her son’s friend as a stress toy. The god just watches. You watch. It’s like Pornhub, if Pornhub had a narrator from an old horror book mumbling in the ceiling. What I liked is how the game never fully decides if you’re supposed to be horny or unsettled. One CG you’re staring at this voluptuous neighbour being railed from behind on the kitchen counter, her breasts smashed against the cold surface, her face pushed into the reflection on the glossy tiles, and the next second the text reminds you that something invisible is floating above, drooling, feeding on their lust like a parasite. You see her eyes roll back from pleasure, but you also know she’s basically a meat candle for some cosmic pervert. It’s hot and really not hot at the same time. I had to pause and go browse Twitter like a normie just to reset my brain. The pacing is weird too. Sometimes you get long teasing scenes with drawn-out conversations, a married neighbour talking about how she “never does this” while her huge boobs are already slipping out of her top, and other times the story just jumps: two lines of dialog, then suddenly she’s riding cock on a squeaky bed, tits slapping against her chest, the god practically moaning in the text box. The thriller angle leaks in around the edges: tiny hints that the residents slowly feel watched, little remarks about shadows that stay too long in the corner of the screen, reflections in glass that don’t match the people fucking in the room. Then the game forgets it wanted to be scary and just zooms in on cum dripping down cleavage. I keep thinking about one early scene with the “nice” neighbour mom. She’s the classic big-breasted type, soft belly, warm smile, the kind of woman that would bring you cookies in a normal story. Here she basically brings you her body. She’s in this tight top that can barely hold those massive boobs, and the text describes how the fabric digs into her skin, leaving red marks. You sit there reading her pretend to be shy while the CG clearly shows her nipples poking through, and in the background there is this faint description about how the deity savors the heat of her embarrassment, how every drop of her arousal is like a prayer. Later, when she’s on all fours, hair messy, sweat shining between her breasts, the god is practically worshipping her from the ceiling, treating her like some living altar. It’s so blasphemous it loops back to funny. I wish the UI text didn’t keep popping slightly off-center during some transitions, it annoyed the hell out of me once I noticed it, and then I could not unsee it. But anyway, the mix of mystery and filth works in a very wrong way. The neighborhood feels like a maze of little porn scenes stitched together by this invisible pervert deity, and you’re sort of its apprentice, clicking your way through people’s lives while pretending you’re investigating some cosmic horror. My advice: play when you’re already a bit horny, keep one hand free for the mouse, and let the game rot your sense of shame while the god fills up on every moan echoing through those thin suburban walls.

Pummel Town: Next Door
Tom's a cook. Not a chef, not some culinary artist. Just a guy who wants to make chicken parmesan and realizes he's out of fucking salt. We've all been there, right? Standing in the kitchen, staring at an empty container, knowing the grocery store is fifteen minutes away but the neighbor is right next door. Kate answers in this tiny robe that's basically a suggestion of fabric. The whole premise is absurdly simple. You need salt. She has salt. But also she has these massive tits barely contained by that robe and a look that says she's been waiting for someone to knock. The dialogue is wonderfully stupid. "I have something salty for you" with that little winky face. No subtlety whatsoever. Just pure, unfiltered horny energy wrapped in an anime aesthetic that's deliberately rough around the edges. The art isn't polished. That's the charm. It looks like something a talented degenerate sketched while absolutely throbbing with inspiration at 2 in the afternoon. Kate's proportions are ridiculous. Her tits defy physics in that specific way that makes you forget physics was ever a thing. The animation loops are basic but they hit that primal part of your brain that doesn't care about frame rates or rendering quality. What gets me is how the cooking theme just evaporates. Tom shows up for salt and suddenly they're not talking about seasoning anymore. The chicken parmesan is probably burning. Nobody cares. Kate's robe is doing this thing where it's technically still on but functionally irrelevant. The pickup is so direct it circles back around to being almost innocent. Like yeah, of course this is why you knock on your neighbor's door. The milf energy is off the charts even though she's technically just the woman next door. There's this moment where she leans against the counter and the whole scene shifts from "can I borrow" to "I'm about to rearrange your understanding of neighborly relations." The game knows exactly what it is. No pretensions. No deep narrative branches. Just a quick, dirty little scenario that delivers exactly what the tags promise. The fucktown vibe is strong even though it's just one apartment. Makes you wonder about the other neighbors. What's happening behind door number three? Probably nothing as good as what's happening with Kate and her conveniently missing salt shaker that she definitely had the whole time.

My Neighbor Is a Goth with a Big Ass v1.0
Right away you notice the prototype jank. The apartment hallway is this flat corridor with a door that looks like it was drawn in MS Paint by someone who just discovered the rectangle tool. Your new neighbor is a goth girl with proportions that defy physics, her chest basically a gravitational anomaly. The whole thing feels like someone’s first Twine project they abandoned after a weekend, but here I am clicking through it anyway because the dialogue has this weird charm. She says stuff like “the void called, it wants its darkness back” and I’m sitting there thinking, did I accidentally download a Hot Topic employee training simulator? The interaction system is barebones, you get maybe three dialogue choices per encounter and half of them loop back to the same response. I picked the flirty option once and she just stared at me with those dead fish eyes and said “interesting” before the conversation ended. No animation, no reaction, just that single word hanging there like a wet fart at a funeral. The simulation tag is generous, nothing simulates here except maybe the experience of talking to someone who’d rather be anywhere else. But then there’s this one scene where you knock on her door late and she answers in this lacy black thing that’s barely holding on. The visual novel part kicks in with a close-up that’s actually not terrible, her expression caught between annoyed and curious. The dialogue tree opens up and suddenly you’re discussing Nietzsche while she adjusts her strap. It’s so absurdly specific I couldn’t look away. The adult content is there but it’s buried under layers of awkward pacing, like someone served you a five-course meal but every dish is just different temperatures of tap water. I wish the neighbor had more than three facial expressions, but that’s not happening. The whole thing feels like a first date where neither of you knows where to put your hands, and honestly that’s more memorable than most polished dating sims I’ve played this year.
