WaifuHub: Season 2
Dexters mom in a casting couch setup. That sentence alone should tell you if you’re in or out. WaifuHub doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is, a slideshow of recognizable anime tits with dialogue trees so thin you could use them as rolling paper. I clicked through the first interview with Ochako and the whole thing felt like a fever dream where nobody’s gravity works right, least of all the writing. The art is that specific brand of 2D where everyone’s skin glows like a freshly buttered dinner roll. Meiko from Prison School shows up and her ass has its own postal code, which is accurate to source material I guess. The ahegao faces trigger way too early, like the girls are having a religious experience just from you saying hello. There’s a moment with Raven where her expression cycles through three emotions during one line of dialogue and none of them match what she’s actually saying. I couldn’t stop laughing. The Lucoa scene goes full dragon maid degeneracy and I respect the commitment even though the proportions cross into territory that would make a hentai artist blush. And I’ve seen things. Gameplay is basically pick a waifu, click through text, watch them strip. Hestia’s string is doing some real structural engineering work. Rem shows up looking sad as always and I just wanted to give her a blanket but instead you’re supposed to, well. The male protagonist has no face and a dick that appears from the void like a glitched Skyrim NPC. Cheelai’s scene made me wonder if the devs have ever actually watched the Broly movie or just grabbed reference images off rule34. Probably both. The whole thing runs in browser so you can alt-tab when your boss walks by, which is the real innovation here. I wish Android 18 had more dialogue but at this point I’m basically asking for character development in a game where Mitsuki Bakugou exists for exactly one reason and it’s not her personality. The Rising of Shield Hero girls are here too, Raphtalia looking confused about why she’s auditioning for a porno. Same, honestly.

WaifuHub: Season 1
You ever just stare at a character select screen and feel your soul leave your body? Not in a bad way. More like that specific exhaustion of knowing exactly what you're about to do and doing it anyway because the art hits that one niche you can't explain to normal people. WaifuHub. The name alone is a cry for help and I answered it. The premise is you're casting for adult films. Interview process. Which is just a flimsy excuse to get Mitsuki from MHA doing that face, you know the one, tongue out eyes rolling back while she's taking a cock that's frankly drawn too big for her frame. The ahegao expressions here are... committed. Mina Ashido's scene has her bouncing and the physics on her ass are absurd, like someone programmed jello that's also somehow firm. Then there's 2B. Look I've played Nier I know her actual personality is stoic and tragic but here she's just... bent over a desk. The whiplash from canon to this is part of the appeal I think. Or maybe I'm just broken. The dragon maid characters are here too, Lucoa's tits are basically their own character model, and Cheelai from the Broly movie is in it which is such a random pull I almost respect it. The UI is a mobile game port, all the buttons are too big and sometimes the sound desyncs during the Raphtalia scene. Shield Hero girl deserved better audio mixing. But then Meiko from Prison School shows up and the sheer size difference between her and the protagonist makes me forget the jank. There's a moment where the animation loops weirdly on Galko and her mouth keeps moving after the sound stops and it's unintentionally the funniest thing in the whole collection. I keep coming back to it. Not for the reason the devs intended but here we are. The whole thing feels like someone's very specific spank bank got funded and honestly? Good for them. The 2DCG is clean even when the writing isn't. Don't expect plot. Don't expect coherence. Just expect waifus getting railed in high definition with expressions that'll make you question your own taste.
