Anita's Internship v0.52
I spent twenty minutes trying to figure out if the minigame where you sort files was actually broken or if Anita's just that bad at her internship. The cursor drifts. Deliberately. Like the devs wanted me to feel her anxiety through shitty mouse acceleration. That's the kind of unpolished nonsense that somehow works here, this weird Unity project where everything feels slightly off in a way that matches the protagonist's spiraling life. The trans tag isn't some checkbox diversity thing. Anita's body is rendered in that particular 3DCG style where skin textures look like they'd feel like a phone screen protector, but the way the game handles her anatomy during the teasing scenes with her stepbrother. Look, there's this moment in the shower where the camera just lingers on her reflection and the puzzle minigame from earlier suddenly makes sense, the one where you're literally piecing together fragments of her self image. I abandoned three different save files trying to get the oral scene with the coworker to trigger differently. The adventure elements are mostly walking between rooms and hoping the next dialogue tree doesn't softlock, which happened twice. The masturbation sequences use this weird rhythm mechanic that I'm still not convinced I did correctly. You're supposed to match the circle's pulse but the timing window is tighter than it needs to be and honestly that might be intentional given how wound up Anita is. Her mother's partner keeps appearing in doorways at the worst moments and the game never explains if getting caught is a fail state or just another path. The vaginal sex scene in the office after hours has clipping issues, her hair phases through the desk, but the dialogue choices beforehand actually reference decisions you made three in-game days earlier which caught me off guard. Most of these games forget what you clicked yesterday. Save before every conversation with the son. Trust me on this. The teasing scenes are missable in ways that aren't obvious and the game autosaves at the worst possible moments, like right after you've committed to a dialogue path that locks you out of the good stuff. Don't try to be clever with the puzzle solutions, just brute force them, the logic isn't consistent anyway.

Puzzle Date v1.0 [Final]
I keep coming back to the match 3 thing. Not because it's good, it's actually kind of janky and the gems don't always line up right when you're trying to make a combo, but because of what happens when you clear a board. The whole date metaphor, right? You're matching colors and suddenly her hand is on your thigh under the table. The puzzle IS the foreplay. That's either genius or the laziest thing I've ever seen and I still can't decide which. The male route with the redhead, forgot her name already, she's got this massive ass that the 3DCG renders with way too much shine, like someone polished it. But then the animation kicks in during the anal scene and you forget about the weird lighting because the way she arches her back, fuck. The physics are all wrong but in that specific way that makes it hotter than if they were right. Tried the lesbian path next because the female protagonist model has better tits, simple as that. The oral scene between her and the other girl, the one with the short hair, has this teasing quality where the camera keeps cutting away right when things get explicit. Edging through match 3 puzzles. Actually made me yell at my screen once. The swinging group sex unlock is buried behind some truly tedious gem matching though, and by the time I got there I was more annoyed than turned on. The romance bits feel stapled on, like someone remembered otome games exist and threw in some dialogue choices that don't matter. The multiple protagonist thing is weird because you don't really switch, you just pick at the start and that's your whole run. The male protag is a blank slate, the female one has slightly more personality but only in the lesbian route. The straight vaginal scenes with her feel disconnected from everything else. There's this one moment during a match where the board is almost cleared and the girl on screen starts touching herself and the gems are falling and it syncs up for like three seconds and it's the most immersed I've been in a porn game all year. Then the next puzzle is about ordering appetizers or some shit and the spell breaks completely. The big tits tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, every female character is built like that and it gets samey. But that one anal scene. That one scene. I've replayed the male route three times just for that. The match 3 is still janky though.

Hearth of the Bunker v0.1
The hacking minigame is absolute dogshit. I mean that affectionately, like when your cat knocks over a vase you never liked anyway. You're tracing circuits on some busted panel while a fish woman with tits the size of her head watches from the corner, and the game expects me to care about voltage regulation? My brother in Christ, she has gills in places that don't make evolutionary sense and I'm supposed to match resistor colors? The hand drawn art during these moments is weirdly tender though, like someone actually loved drawing the way light hits water stained metal, and then boom, alien elf with her whole business out because you fixed a door hinge. The bunker itself feels like someone took Subnautica's anxiety and crossed it with one of those old Newgrounds dating sims, which is a sentence I never thought I'd type. You're this diver guy, standard issue protagonist with the personality of wet cardboard, but that's fine because the monster girls carry everything. There's an android who speaks in glitched poetry and a green skinned elf who keeps "accidentally" pressing her massive chest against you during equipment maintenance. The voyeurism tag earns its keep here, you can literally watch them shower through a cracked vent and the game doesn't pretend it's anything but what it is. Refreshing, honestly. Most games would add some moral hand wringing. The puzzle logic falls apart around the third area. Something about aligning sonar frequencies to unlock a door, except the solution involved clicking on a completely unrelated pipe that I only found because I got frustrated and started clicking everything like a caffeinated squirrel. The teasing scenes are top tier though, that slow build of a monster girl pretending she doesn't notice you staring while her tail does things that would get this review flagged on less enlightened platforms. The sandbox elements mean you can just ignore the main story and spend forty minutes optimizing the oxygen recycler while the elf girl gets increasingly annoyed you're not paying attention to her. Which, mood. The animated scenes are sparse but when they hit, they hit like a freight train made of questionable life choices. That one sequence with the jellyfish hybrid and the zero gravity chamber? I need to go lie down. Not because it was hot, which it absolutely was, but because the physics engine clearly gave up halfway through and her tentacles just sort of phased through solid objects like a Bethesda game. Glorious.
