ok so this game. right. the whole thing is about this girl margaret and her birthday and her girlfriend arabelle and then this surfer morgan shows up and she's got abs you could grate cheese on. the art is 2d and it's got that summer vibe, all bright colors and beach stuff. but the thing that got me, and i'm still thinking about it, is the way the sand is drawn. like, it's just there in the background but it's got this weird texture that doesn't look like any sand i've ever seen. more like... tiny little breadcrumbs? and it's in every beach scene and i couldn't stop staring at it. completely took me out of the moment when morgan is doing that thing with the tentacle toy, you know the one, and all i can see is breadcrumb sand. the sex stuff is pretty wild though. you got your standard lesbian stuff which is nice, arabelle and margaret have this sweet thing going, but then morgan comes in and it's just... everything. anal, double penetration with toys, there's this one scene with a bukkake that comes out of nowhere. and the furry tag is there because morgan is like a shark girl? or something? she's got these sharp teeth and a tail and nobody ever mentions it. like it's totally normal. the game just acts like yeah, here's a shark woman who surfs, deal with it. and honestly i did deal with it. the handjob scene with the tail was creative. i wish there was more of the swinging aspect though. it's tagged but it's really just the three of them, not like a whole party or anything. felt a bit misleading. the multiple penetration stuff is good, don't get me wrong, but i wanted more. the oral scenes are detailed, lots of close ups, and the vaginal sex has this one position that i'm pretty sure would break a real person's spine. but hey, it's a game. the tentacles show up late and it's just a toy, not like actual monsters, which is fine i guess. just don't expect the ocean to come alive or whatever. the writing is okay, some typos here and there but you're not here for the prose. the whole thing is pretty short, you can get through it in one sitting, and then it just... ends. no big finale. just over. like the breadcrumb sand just swallows them up or something. anyway.

It's not trying to be a polished VN, it's like a sketchbook of a guy who's slowly losing his mind from the heat and proximity. The voyeur tag is the whole point, not just a feature. You're Manuel, stuck in this 60 square meter box with your 18 year old niece from the village, and the game makes you feel that claustrophobia. The "adventure" is just daily life, her first days at uni, but the real gameplay is where you position yourself, what you choose to notice. I got stuck on this one mini scene where she leaves her laundry on the line. Just a bra. The game let me stare at it for a solid minute with no payoff, no dramatic music, just the sound of a broken fan. That's the game. It's a study in tension that never breaks. The romance tag is almost a joke, it's more a slow erosion of sense. No big drama, just a man and a girl and a summer that won't end. Forgot to mention the student tag, but that's just her excuse to be there, to be busy and distracted while you're not. The incest is the whole unspoken engine, never crass, just this constant, low level hum of wrongness. Like a fridge that's about to die.
