The first thing that hits you isn’t the sun or the sand, it’s the weirdly specific way the fox girl’s tail clips through the beach chair. I spent maybe fifteen minutes just staring at that, poking at the dialogue options, wondering if the devs even noticed. They probably didn’t. The whole thing has that glorious, slapped together RPG Maker energy where the sprites are clearly frankensteined from a dozen different asset packs, and the “animation” during a sex scene is just a sprite shaking up and down like it’s having a seizure. It’s perfect. The plot is whatever. You’re a furry on a beach, there are other furries, you want to fuck them. The pickup system is basically a memory game of giving the right compliment, and I still don’t know why the shark guy gets mad if you mention his teeth but the cat girl with the massive, and I mean gratuitously massive, pixel tits loves it when you talk about her claws. Makes no sense. The writing is so blunt it circles back around to being poetry. One character literally just says “I want your knot” and the game waits for you to click a response. I laughed, then I clicked yes, then I got a CGs that looked like a jigsaw puzzle of body parts. The new scenes from that 2021 update are somehow rougher than the original content, especially the one with the raccoon in the lifeguard tower. The sound effect they used for that scene is just a stock “squelch” loop that doesn’t even try to sync up. I wish the inventory system did literally anything. You pick up a conch shell early on and I was convinced it was a key item for a secret route. Nope. It just sits there. A monument to nothing. The whole game feels like that, a monument to a very specific, horny, unpolished vision that I can’t stop poking at. The drinks are ice-cold, the dialogue is brain-melting, and I still don’t know what the conch shell is for.
