Avatar: Blood Legacy Chapter 3

I loaded this up expecting something, I don't know, coherent. What I got was Toph Beifong with tits the size of her head and a plot that feels like it was written by a horny algorithm with a concussion. The AI art is... look, sometimes it's almost good, like a fever dream where the characters almost look right, and then the next scene Katara's face melts into something that would get you arrested in seventeen states. The inconsistency is the point, I think. Or maybe it's not. The dev clearly said fuck it to polish and honestly that's kind of refreshing in a genre where everyone pretends their incest visual novel is high art. The violence tag is not kidding around. There's a scene where you can just straight up murder someone with earthbending and then immediately transition into a titfuck. The tonal whiplash is so severe I laughed out loud. The ahegao faces are grotesque in that specific AI way where the eyes cross and the tongue becomes this independent entity that doesn't quite connect to the mouth properly. It's horrible. I kept clicking. You play as the Avatar, which in this timeline means you're a guy who wanders around making terrible decisions. The adventure structure is barely there, just enough to string together the scenes. Toph shows up, things happen, the dialogue reads like it was translated through three languages and then back by someone who's never spoken to another human. "In a few intresting way" the description says, and that typo is the most honest thing about the whole experience. The parody elements are accidental half the time, I'm convinced. There's a moment where the source material is referenced so incorrectly I had to respect it. Nothing matters. Consent as a concept does not exist in this universe and that's uncomfortable in a way that's probably intentional but who knows anymore. The game doesn't care what I think and I almost admire that.
