The dice clatter across the board and Mary Jane loses another piece of clothing. Not because she wants to, not yet anyway. Because the cards say so. That's the thing about TableTop BornStar, it wraps corruption in game mechanics so cleanly you almost forget you're being a complete bastard. Almost. I spent three hours last night trying to keep her "pure" while the board kept throwing gangbang cards at me. The RNG in this thing has a sense of humor, or maybe it's just horny. You're this washed up agent stuck in your office, ankle monitor beeping, and your only connection to the outside is this farm girl with stars in her eyes and an ass that won't quit. The management layer is surprisingly crunchy for what's essentially a porn game. Resource allocation, card synergies, risk reward calculations. I found myself actually strategizing about when to introduce the sex toys. Too early and she freaks, too late and you miss the exhibitionism triggers. There's a pregnancy system I completely ignored for two playthroughs because I was too busy optimizing her oral stats. Priorities. The writing's uneven. Some scenes crackle with this sleazy 1999 Hollywood energy, all cocaine whispers and casting couch threats. Others read like they were translated through three languages and back. The footjob scene came out of nowhere and honestly I'm still processing it. Not complaining, just. Processing. The animated sequences are simple but effective, though the lesbian content feels tacked on, like someone remembered they needed it for the tag list. What I really want is a DLC where you can play as Mary Jane, see the corruption from her side. That'll never happen. The voyeurism mechanics are underbaked too, which is a shame because the setup is perfect for it. Still, watching her go from blushing virgin to. well. you know. There's something wrong with me for enjoying the board game parts more than the sex scenes. The multiple endings actually diverge meaningfully, which surprised me. Got the "romance" ending first try and felt genuinely weird about it, like I'd manipulated the system instead of the character. Which I guess is the point.
