Abduction part 3

Right, so the redhead's mouth is doing that thing where she looks like she's about to cry but also maybe about to bite, and I'm sitting there clicking through the options like I'm ordering from a very questionable menu. The brunette just stares at the ceiling the whole time, which honestly feels like a mood. There's this one button that says "rough" and I press it before my brain catches up and suddenly the animation does this little shudder thing, the screen sort of wobbles, and I realize I've been holding my breath. The whole setup is you've got these three hostages, blonde redhead brunette, the holy trinity of bad decisions, and you pick one then cycle through actions. It's not complicated. The criminal guys are these faceless silhouettes, which I appreciate because I'm not here to look at some dude's polygon abs. But the girls' expressions, man. Sometimes the redhead's eyes go wide and I can't tell if it's fear or something else and the game doesn't care enough to clarify. That ambiguity is doing more work than the actual animations
