CuckTales v0.6.77 [Completed]

Honestly the UI in CuckTales is a mess and I kind of love it for that. The font choices are questionable, like someone discovered dafont.com in 2012 and never looked back. But the accessibility options? Actually not terrible. You can adjust text speed and there's a history log that doesn't fight you, which is more than I can say for half the Ren'py games I've tried on itch.io. The sandbox elements feel tacked on though, clicking around the apartment map to trigger scenes gets old fast. Reminds me of those old Newgrounds dating sims where you'd just click every object hoping for a titflash. The bisexual content caught me off guard. Most NTR visual novels treat the boyfriend character like a cardboard cutout who just cries in the corner, but here you can actually explore things with the bull too. There's this one scene with bondage gear that goes places I genuinely didn't expect from a game that looks like it was drawn in MS Paint during a lunch break. The anal scenes are surprisingly detailed for 2DCG, though the anatomy gets... creative sometimes. Like, I'm pretty sure that's not how prostates work but whatever, it's hot. The writing swings wildly between surprisingly introspective and pure porn logic. One minute the protagonist is having a genuine emotional crisis about his cuckoldry fetish, the next he's getting titfucked while his girlfriend watches and the dialogue reads like a bad translation of a bad translation. The interracial elements are there but handled with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Not complaining exactly, just... you know what you're getting into. The gay content isn't just a checkbox either, there's actual branching paths depending on how much you lean into it. My only real gripe is the save system. Twenty slots seems generous until you realize the branching paths multiply like rabbits and suddenly you're overwriting the one route where you didn't accidentally trigger the bondage scene with the neighbor.
