The first time the mind control option popped up, I actually laughed. Not because it was funny, but because the game presents it so casually, like choosing what to have for breakfast. You're this guy, right? Inherited a creepy mansion from some relative nobody talked about, and suddenly demons are attacking and your mom and sister are just... there. Grateful. Vulnerable. The turn based combat is surprisingly not terrible, reminds me of those old flash RPGs where you'd grind for hours, but here the grinding is for corruption points or whatever. I spent way too long optimizing my demon fighting team when I should have been, you know, dealing with the whole "dark powers corrupting my soul" thing. The blackmail mechanics feel ripped straight from a hentai visual novel, which I guess is the point. There's this one scene where you can use your new supernatural abilities to... persuade your sister to do things, and the game doesn't shy away from the *** undertones at all. It's uncomfortable, but that's the whole fantasy it's selling. Male domination through paranormal means, building a harem through literal mind control. The BDSM elements come later, once you've established control, and there's even some lesbian content thrown in for variety I suppose. The 2D art is decent, character designs are distinct enough that you won't confuse them, though the monster designs during combat are pretty generic demon stuff. What's weird is how the adventure parts, exploring the mansion and uncovering mysteries, are actually engaging. I caught myself reading the lore entries about the previous owner's dealings with demons, genuinely curious, while simultaneously planning how to turn my in game mother into a sex slave. The cognitive dissonance is real. The superpowers you gain aren't just for combat, they're tools for corruption, and watching that meter fill up creates this odd sense of accomplishment mixed with "what am I doing with my life." The paranormal investigation segments remind me of those old point and click horror games, except instead of solving puzzles to escape, you're solving them to gain more control over your family. Wish the combat had more depth, but I doubt they'll patch a game like this.
