Getting grabbed by a spider queen who’s already decided she’s doing what she wants with you? Yeah that’s the setup. Elise anyway, fully rendered in that weird cave lighting, all teeth and legs and a seriously dangerous amount of cleavage. The art style goes for this low budget Ren'Py vibe where some still frames look like a genius spent hours and the next transition image looks like she rendered it on a phone. But somehow that works? Genuinely? My brain’s still hung up on the feet. The kickstarter backer energy around the footjob scenes. Pages of text dedicated to her pedipalps doing things and you just have to accept this is what summoners quest means now. Battle system’s maybe three clicks from boring but every loss is actually what you want. Grinding failure becomes this accidental speedrun toward getting your dick trapped under her carapace. I forgot there was supposed to be combat about halfway through and just started throwing matches to see dialogue variants. Cumshot animations in a place like this, underground, zero physics, felt aggressive. One minute she’s talking about draining your levels, next minute she’s doing it literally. Nobody warned me. The whole visual novel side gets genuinely strange with whispers about League lore that I’m pretty sure aren’t official but now I can’t stop thinking about them. So what was I even doing before the cave. Irrelevant. The summoner himself has less personality than the web strands hanging from the ceiling but honestly who cares. Those legs don’t apologize and neither does the writer. Pacing falls apart in the late scenes when she just says the same lines twice while the protagonist makes noises that sound copy-pasted from a far better project. Not that I noticed. Too distracted. If you remember the old flash days where you just mashed left click hoping for something awful and beautiful, this is that feeling in a browser tab.
