Tales from the Deep: Eve vCh1.a3.4

Eve is a mess and I mean that as a compliment. Thirty something, lost her kid to the system, now she's grinding a bartender gig and flashing her tits on Shamecams just to keep a roof that leaks. The game opens with her wiping down a sticky counter at 1am and some regular gives her a look. You know the look. From there it's a slow slide into every bad decision you can imagine, and the game lets you pick how far she falls. The camming segments are where it gets properly filthy. You choose what she does on stream, how much she shows, whether she reads the chat's degrading requests out loud. There's a moment where a viewer offers extra tokens if she uses a beer bottle. I clicked it without thinking. The writing doesn't flinch. It describes the cold glass, the awkward angle, her face going blank. That's the thing about this game, it's not just shock value. It's about watching someone trade pieces of herself for small amounts of money and feeling the weight of each transaction. The bartending minigame is annoying though. You have to remember drink orders and the timing is tight. I failed twice and got a game over screen that felt unfair. But maybe that's the point. Eve's life is unfair. The art style is rough, like someone drew it on a napkin, but the expressions land. Her eyes get this hollow look after certain scenes that stuck with me. There's a subplot with her ex and the custody visits that I won't spoil. It goes somewhere dark. The game doesn't pretend there's a happy ending waiting. You're just steering how bad it gets. I respect that. Most adult games are afraid to make you feel gross. This one leans into it.
