Booting this one up on my phone between Discord notifications and the first thing that hits me is the character models, they're going for that specific 3DCG look that's like someone discovered sliders and never looked back. Which isn't a complaint exactly. There's a teacher character with hips that defy geometry and I kept expecting her to clip through doorframes. It's that kind of energy that makes the whole paranormal angel investigation plot feel like it was written by a very horny committee who couldn't agree if they wanted noir mystery or pure harem fantasy so they just dumped both in. The MC comes home from a trip and his friend's dead, real cheery start. Then suddenly you're juggling like five women, a murder mystery, and some angel lore that I'm still not sure I fully tracked because the exhibitionism scene happened and I forgot what the actual clue was. The sex toy moment with the MILF character, look I wasn't expecting it to get that specific with the animations but here we are. It's animated, not just stills, which matters when you're trying to appreciate the mechanics of a scene. The vaginal and lesbian content is there, front and center, no fade to black coyness. The writing during romance bits flips between genuinely funny humor and lines so direct I had to close the app when my phone connected to the car Bluetooth for one excruciating second. The school setting feels like an afterthought most of the time, you're supposedly investigating things but then there's a harem moment in what I think was a classroom and the academic pretense evaporates. One character's wings kept intersecting with the environment during a scene and I wish someone would fix that but they won't, it's that kind of unpolished charm. Or charm adjacent. The mobile game format means tapping through dialogue trees that sometimes loop in weird ways if you're not following the intended path, had to restart once because I got stuck in a conversation about trust with someone who was simultaneously trying to show me evidence and remove clothing which is a tonal mess but also exactly what the store page promised. The killer plot twist I saw coming from the second act but honestly I wasn't here for the detective work.
