18+ Con-Quest! Poké-con Part 1 (Teaser)

The first boss fight ends with a magical girl getting her outfit shredded by a tentacle monster and honestly, that's the whole vibe. Con-Quest is this episodic RPG thing on Newgrounds, a parody that knows exactly what shelf it sits on. You play some dude at a convention who gets sucked into a fantasy world, standard isekai trash, but the twist is everyone here is a cosplayer and the magic system runs on, I dunno, horny energy and costume damage. The art by PuddingPack has that bouncy, western hentai style, thick lines and exaggerated expressions that make the lewd bits land with a wet slap. Gameplay is basic RPG Maker stuff, walk around, talk to NPCs who are all thirsty elves or catgirls, get into turn based battles. The combat's got this strip mechanic where losing clothes means losing defense, which is a neat idea until you realize you're just grinding to see the next Cg. And the grinding is tedious. Clicking attack over and over while a slime girl dissolves your armor. The writing tries hard with the humor, lots of fourth wall breaks and references to patreon and internet culture. Sometimes it's genuinely funny, like a side quest about finding a missing body pillow. Other times it's just characters saying "fuck" and calling it a punchline. The sound design is basically nonexistent, just some looping midi track that drills into your skull. But that scene with the dark elf queen. You lose a rigged fight, and she does this whole domination bit, stepping on you with her heel while the dialogue box describes the smell of her leather costume. It's so over the top, pure degenerate fuel, and the game doesn't pretend to be anything else. The patreon integration is weirdly aggressive though, with locked doors and characters literally telling you to pay up for the next episode. It's a demo that knows it's a demo. The cosplay parody angle is undercooked, most outfits are just generic fantasy bikinis, not clever riffs on actual characters. I'll probably check the next update just to see if that catgirl ever gets her revenge. Or gets wrecked again. Whatever.
