The lightning spell scaling with max MP is nice I guess but who cares when you're trying to find the one enemy that actually makes the grind worth it. The shop cutscenes trigger randomly now after you save certain cosplayers and half of them are just these weird little vignettes that don't really go anywhere but they make the whole convention setting feel more lived in. There's a Cuebone cosplayer now. A boss fight. You can't run from bosses anymore which I learned the hard way when I was trying to save scum for better drops and got absolutely wrecked by some attack I didn't see coming. The music though. That fanmade Sun & Moon rival remix. It's too good for this game honestly, it makes the battles feel way more epic than they have any right to be. I caught myself humming it later and felt genuinely embarrassed. The Eevee animation has two parts now. Two. Parts. I don't know what the first version looked like but this one is. Detailed.
