The Kin of Jormungandr v1.0

So I'm playing this thing right, and the whole premise is you get your ass kicked by some villains and then a hot superhero girl saves you. Classic. Next thing you know you're at superhero school, which is basically just a weeb meme factory with superpowers attached. The game knows exactly what it is, a goofy ahh harem mess wrapped in sci-fi paper that's been through a blender with every anime reference from the last decade. The combat is quick time events. That's it. You press buttons when it tells you to press buttons. I spent way too long trying to figure out if there was some deeper system hidden underneath but nope, just timed presses. It's somehow both boring and stressful at the same time, like trying to microwave popcorn while someone yells random numbers at you. The whole thing runs on Ren'py so you know the drill, lots of reading, lots of choices that probably don't matter, and character sprites that look like they were drawn during a caffeine crash. But here's the thing, I kept clicking. The writing is so aggressively stupid that it circles back around to being entertaining. There's this one scene where a character explains quantum physics using a JoJo reference and I genuinely couldn't tell if the creator was a genius or just threw darts at a board covered in memes. The lewd stuff is there, obviously, it's a harem game. The scenes are about what you'd expect from something that calls itself a "goofy ahh meme game." Not exactly high art but they get the job done if you're into that specific brand of chaotic horny energy. The male protagonist has the personality of wet cardboard but honestly that's probably intentional, makes it easier to project or whatever. I dunno. The mystery tag is doing some heavy lifting because I'm still not sure what the actual plot is beyond "go to school, bang superheroes, something something villains." Maybe that's the mystery.
