I gotta say the physics in this pool game are absolutely busted and I don’t even care. The cue ball glides like it’s on buttered glass and sometimes a ball will just... drift... long after it should have stopped. Watched the 8 ball do a slow motion curve into the corner pocket once like it was possessed. Creepy but also kind of hot? The opponent just stood there in that black lingerie set with the little garter straps, completely unfazed. She’s a blonde real model type, the kind where you can tell they actually photographed a person and then... did something weird to the lighting. Her skin has that slightly waxy sheen. But when she bends over the table to line up a shot, and the camera does that automatic zoom in, you forget about rendering issues real quick. The whole setup is basic as hell. Standard 8 ball rules but with a striptease mechanic bolted on. Win a set and she loses a piece. The bra has these tiny little clasps that pop open in a janky animation. I wanted her to keep the stockings on longer but the game strips those off second, which feels like a design choice made by someone who doesn’t understand how legs work in heels. The heels stay on though, thank god. There’s something about that combination, garter marks on thighs and those shoes, that makes the wonky ball physics almost charming. Almost. Switching apps to check pool rules on my phone because the game sure as hell doesn’t explain them, and my browser tab reloads and she’s fully clothed again. No save state. No progress memory. Just cold restart. I didn’t even bother going back for the final set. The table felt has this impossible green color that doesn’t exist in nature and honestly the whole thing looks like a late night cable access fever dream from 2005. I’d complain about the sound design if there was any worth mentioning, but it’s just generic clicks and a weirdly aggressive crowd cheer that triggers at random. Not when you sink a ball. Just... sometimes.
