The whole thing feels like one of those old arcade machines where you have to mash buttons to fill a bar, except here you’re filling... something else. There’s no lesson but there is a kind of frantic rhythm, you keep thinking if you just hit the timing better, Nancy will look a little less like a deer in headlights. I spent way too long staring at the sister rivalry meter because it’s never explained, just a red and blue line pulsing like a heartbeat but it’s actually just a humilation gauge. The big tits are everywhere, almost like the artist forgot people have necks, and I respect that kind of commitment even if it’s absurd. That minigame where you line up the camera angles. I don’t know why but I kept replaying it, the clicks feel hollow and cheap but the payoff, Nancy in the rival station’s studio getting debased by Natasha’s son who has the face of a potato, it’s so wrong it loops back to funny. The family tag is doing heavy lifting, because it’s less about kinship and more about a career bloodsport. Nancy was already washed up, her ratings in the dump, and then boom, her own sister orchestrates a live broadcast humiliation fantasy that makes no ethical sense but perfect gutter logic. I wish the news desk sprites changed based on the scene, they’re static the whole time but who cars, you’re not here for set design. The humor is baked into how seriously the text boxes take the most degrading situations. There’s a part where you unlock a rapid fire sequence and the game just gives up on transitions, it becomes pure primal button mashing and for a moment it’s almost hypnotic. Got sidetracked wondering if Natasha ever had her own arc but no, she’s just there smirking, a puppeteer with nothing behind the eyes except a score to settle.
