Some CGs hit with this gorgeous detailed rendering where sweat actually looks like sweat, other times faces stretch weird during corruption sequences like someone rushed the transform layers. Still can't stop clicking. Roommate dynamics should be the draw but honestly Lucy's barely there. She orbits around plot beats about the embezzlement money, which you'd think would be more central since that's literally why you're getting blackmailed in this office job you moved countries for. The text keeps forgetting about her. Keeps forgetting about the crime itself honestly. What sticks is the humiliation loops where the blackmailer, some higher-up who caught your dumb ass cooking books, calls you during these gym scenes with Carla while you're on your knees trying to explain why you're not actually into being dominated. The dialogue choices mean something here for once in a VN. Pick wrong and the scene just, poof, fades out with a "maybe another time" screen that feels like getting blue-balled by a menu prompt. Corruption meter's janky. Sometimes it ticks up during scenes that should be neutral, like choosing what to eat for dinner with the roommate, and I still don't understand if that's intentional commentary about losing autonomy or just spaghetti code. The femdom stuff goes hardcore fast, no gentle lead-in, which honestly I appreciate. No pretending this is a romance. You're a pathetic embezzler and these women know it. The humiliation dialogue gets repetitive by the third session with Carla though, same phrases recycled, "you're going to do everything I say" for the eighth time loses its bite. Wish the game had, I don't know, a skip button that actually worked properly instead of locking you into watching the same transition animation over and. The visual novel structure chugs along competently enough. Office scenes feel hollow compared to the apartment sequences, which at least have this claustrophobic domestic tension. The corruption path with the gym instructor branches in ways that caught me off guard, genuinely didn't expect a certain scene where she involves the other instructors, but then it just ends on a cliffhanger that the game's been sitting on for months now according to the version number. Still. That one CG where you're. Never mind. Loading bars take forever between choices sometimes and that's the shit that really breaks immersion more than anything else I could complain about.
