The translation patch for Alfaville dropped last week and honestly the English is a mess, but a charming mess? Like someone ran the script through three different machine translators then a horny teenager fixed the dirty parts. Which is probably what happened. The medieval setting is just window dressing for tits the size of war shields, and I respect that. You play some young guy wandering around a town where every woman wants to fuck him for basically no reason. Standard hentai adventure stuff. The wild tag is doing heavy lifting because there's a scene with a tavern wench that goes from zero to anal in about four clicks. No buildup, no logic, just "here's my asshole, peasant boy." And you know what? Sometimes that's exactly what I need after a long day. The big tits are everywhere, bouncing with that weird physics engine where they move like water balloons filled with jello. One blacksmith's daughter has knockers so massive her sprite clips through doorframes. I laughed, then I kept playing. The fantasy elements are thin. There's a witch character who shows up, says something cryptic, then fucks you in a forest clearing. Her dialogue was clearly translated by someone who learned English from porn subtitles. "Your rod pleases the ancient spirits" or some shit. I don't know if that's accurate to the original Japanese or if the translator just gave up. Either way, it's memorable. Combat is basic, the map is confusing, and I still don't understand what the main quest wants from me. But the gallery mode unlocks everything after one playthrough, so who cares. The medieval aesthetic is just brown buildings and torches, nothing special. Actually the torches cast weird shadows that made me think my monitor was dying. Small complaint, never resolved. The adventure tag promises exploration but it's mostly walking between sex scenes. Which is fine. I'm not here for lore. The wild part comes through in a scene with a horse girl, and no I won't elaborate, but yes it's exactly what you think.
