Ravenhollow Chronicles v1.0

The village is called Ravenhollow and it's basically a monster girl petri dish. I downloaded this because the thumbnail had a pale girl with braids who looked exactly like Wednesday Addams, and I'm not proud of that but here we are. The game calls her Viernes13 which is... Friday the 13th in Spanish? I don't know. The localization is a mess. Some dialogue reads like it was translated through three different apps and then someone's cousin fixed the grammar but only sometimes. The combat is turn based and honestly I kept losing to a werewolf girl because I was distracted by her tits. They bounce. A lot. The animations are 2D but the character art has this weird AI generated smoothness that makes everyone look like they're made of wax, except during the sex scenes where suddenly there's actual detail. Creampies everywhere. The scientist protagonist has zero personality but the girls all have these specific kinks that caught me off guard. Wednesday, sorry, Viernes13 does this thing where she teases you for like twenty minutes of dialogue before anything happens and by the time she finally goes down on you it's genuinely earned. The oral scenes have more frames than the combat. Management mechanics are there but shallow. You give gifts, you go on dates, you unlock scenes. Standard stuff. The gothic aesthetic carries it though. Something about the color palette makes everything feel perpetually dusk. There's a shapeshifter character who transforms mid scene and I wish more games did that because the surprise factor alone. The sound design is mostly just wet noises and a looping piano track that I muted after ten minutes. Not great. But the voice acting, when it exists, is surprisingly decent. The monster girl with the big ass has this low growl that. I keep coming back to it between other games. Not because it's good exactly but because it knows what it is. A hentai parody that doesn't pretend to be anything else. The Heart of Lugrenwald forest stuff is whatever. I skip most of the plot. But Wednesday Addams with her mouth full? That's staying in my browser history whether I like it or not.
