Candy Supermarket - Candy Corn

The Bo-Peep Candy store meeting at 8 AM. That's the setup. Not a dungeon, not a spaceship. A candy store. And you're the taste tester for the Halloween special. Already the whole thing feels like someone's Tumblr art blog from 2014 got turned into a game, and I'm not mad about it. The corn. My god, the corn. There's a whole... thing with corn that I won't spoil but let's just say the "big tits" tag isn't lying. It's like the developer watched one too many Harvest Moon speedruns and thought, what if the crops were horny? The humor lands somewhere between shitpost and genuine character writing, which is a weird space to occupy. Sometimes it's trying too hard, other times I snorted loud enough to scare my cat. The Halloween angle gives it this seasonal energy, like when stores put out decorations in August and you're annoyed but also kinda into it. I wish the candy shop itself had more to poke around in. You get these little glimpses of the store, jars and displays and stuff, and I kept wanting to just... browse? Which is not what the game is for, obviously, but my cosplay brain started cataloging outfit pieces immediately. The uniform alone. Would wear it to a con unironically. The character designs are where things get genuinely interesting for me. Proportions are absolutely ridiculous, like someone described a human body to an alien who only had anime screenshots for reference. But there's a confidence to it. The colors pop in that specific way that makes you think about fabric choices and wig styling, even when the scene is... you know. Doing what it's here to do. One animation loop had a little bounce that reminded me of that one MMD motion everyone used in 2016 and I haven't been able to unsee it since. Not a complaint. Just a thing that lives in my head now. The game knows exactly what it is and doesn't pretend otherwise, which I respect more than something trying to be profound about its porn logic.
