The calendar system is broken. I mean not actually broken, but the way Tuesday bleeds into Wednesday without any real transition, just a fade to black and suddenly you're picking breakfast options again. It's like the developer forgot days have middles. You wake up, make a choice, maybe see a panty shot if you picked the right dialogue option three conversations ago, then sleep. Repeat. The foot fetish stuff sneaks up on you too, not in the main scenes but in these little moments where the camera just... lingers. On toes. On ankles. You'll be trying to raise your relationship score with the sporty one and suddenly you're staring at her bare feet for five seconds longer than necessary. I kept a notepad file open to track which gifts worked on which girl, and by day 14 I had written "socks???" with three question marks. The vaginal sex scenes unlock at specific relationship thresholds, and the creampie finish is tied to whether you remembered to buy condoms at the convenience store three days earlier. Who thinks of that? The game remembers though. It remembers everything. The drama tag is doing heavy lifting here. One of the girls has a secret that's so telegraphed you'll spot it by the third dialogue wheel, but the game makes you wait until her affection meter hits 75 before she'll even hint at it. The slice of life stuff is where it actually shines. There's a scene where you just help fold laundry and the dialogue choices are genuinely funny, like the writer finally relaxed and stopped trying to be sexy for five minutes. The humor lands better than the romance, which is weird for a game tagged romantic. The system of relationships is basically a spreadsheet with anime portraits, and once you see the numbers behind the choices the illusion breaks. But then the redhead laughs at your joke and you forget you're gaming a points system. I wish the interactive elements weren't just "pick A B or C" but they are and that won't change. The visual novel format means you're reading mostly, and the writing swings wildly between surprisingly sharp character moments and dialogue that sounds like it was translated through three languages. Sometimes in the same conversation. The relationship mechanics punish you for spreading attention evenly, which is realistic I guess but also annoying when you just want to see all the content without replaying the whole week. The hidden sides of the girls aren't that hidden if you've ever met a human person before, but the game treats each revelation like it's profound. Maybe that's the point. Maybe the real secret was the calendar system all along.
