Forsaken: Queen of the Damned - v0.2

So there's this elven archery thing, right? You're the middle kid, everyone fucks off to help other races, and now you're stuck defending the family name alone. Sounds like setup for some generic corruption arc but honestly the combat has this weird weight to it that keeps pulling me back. Like the draw mechanic, you hold and release, and if you mistime it the whole shot goes limp. Frustrating at first but then you start feeling the rhythm in your fingers. The monster girls. Jesus. The goblin matron in the second area, the one with the fungal growths on her tits, she does this thing where she pins you against a tree and the camera just lingers on your character's face while the dialogue gets increasingly desperate. You can choose to fight back or just let it happen. I let it happen more times than I'd admit. The animations are rough as hell, clipping everywhere, but somehow that makes it dirtier. Like watching a bootleg of something you shouldn't have. There's this one scene with a slime queen that dissolves your armor piece by piece, and the texture work on the dissolving cloth is actually decent. But then the sound cuts out halfway through and you're just staring at silent jiggling polygons. Kind of kills it. Still, the way the game tracks your corruption through dialogue choices, not just stat numbers, that stuck with me. Your character starts saying things differently. Little verbal tics. Would I call it good? Fuck no. Would I call it memorable? Against my better judgment, yes. The harem ending is locked behind being an asshole to everyone and I still don't know how I feel about that. Anyway, the archery trainer near the elven capital has these ridiculously long legs and I spent way too long just circling her model trying to see if the physics on her loincloth ever settle. They don't.
