The dad reveal in Sovereign is so stupid I almost closed the tab. Some dusty secret about his father that gives the MC mind control powers? It's the kind of setup you'd find in a fic from 2008, complete with the whole "down on his luck" protagonist who looks like every other 3DCG dude with a permanent five o'clock shadow. And yet I kept clicking. That's the thing about this sandbox, it knows exactly what it is and doesn't pretend otherwise. The corruption mechanics are where things get genuinely interesting. You start small, maybe convincing the landlady to forget about rent, and before you know it you're systematically dismantling an entire family's moral compass. There's this one MILF character, a neighbor I think, who goes from baking you cookies to exhibitionist public scenes in what feels like no time at all. The netori angle hits different when you're the one pulling the strings, literally making husbands watch as you rewrite their wives' personalities. The big ass and big tits tags aren't lying, these models are absurdly proportioned in that specific uncanny valley way that somehow works for this kind of game. The creampie scenes have this clinical quality to them, like everyone involved is just going through the motions of passion while the real action is happening in those dialogue boxes where you choose how to corrupt them further. I wish the sandbox elements mattered more. You can improve your living conditions apparently but who cares when you're busy turning a harem of women into mindless slaves? The adventure tag feels misleading, there's no real danger or turbulence despite what the description claims. The BDSM content shows up late and feels tacked on, like the dev remembered it was supposed to be there. But then you'll stumble into a scene where the MC uses his powers during a family dinner, making his sister flash him while mom's in the kitchen, and suddenly the janky animations and weird lighting don't matter at all. The incest content is woven into the corruption path so naturally you might forget it's supposed to be taboo. The dating sim aspects are basically window dressing for the domination fantasy, which honestly is the right call. I forgot to mention the cheating tag but it's everywhere, obviously, since you're literally mind controlling people into betraying everyone they love. The simulator tag makes sense in a way, you're simulating the systematic destruction of free will one vaginal sex scene at a time.
