Rowan's wife Alexia is a goddamn problem. Not in the game, I mean for me. She's this sweet village girl, childhood sweetheart, all that. And the game makes you, forces you really, to drag her through the mud. I found myself actually hesitating at a choice, staring at the screen like some idiot. Do I send her to the brothel to earn coin or not? The game doesn't care about my feelings. It just waits. Seeds of Chaos is a management sim wrapped in a dark fantasy skin, like if Berserk had a baby with a spreadsheet. You play Rowan, war hero, now a slave to a demon lady named Jezera who is, and I can't stress this enough, exactly my type. Tall, purple, horns, owns your soul. The loop is gathering resources, training troops, doing her dirty work, and slowly watching your morality meter tick down. The sex scenes are animated, 2D, and they go places. Anal, group, monsters, futa, NTR so heavy it feels like the game is personally calling you a cuck. There's a scene with a goblin chief and Alexia that made me alt-tab so fast I nearly broke my keyboard. Not because it was bad, but because it was a lot. The writing is actually trying, which is rare. It wants to be a real dark fantasy novel with politics and orc tribes and ancient evils. Sometimes it works. Other times you're reading five minutes of lore about grain shipments to get to a scene where a minotaur splits your wife in half. The balance is weird. I wish the management part was less clicky, more streamlined, but it won't be. That's the game. I played on my phone browser during a boring zoom call and the mobile port is surprisingly not trash. Just don't be a hero, Rowan. Or do. Whatever. The corruption is the point.
