fuck this game's UI, seriously. the old one was garbage but at least it was garbage i understood. now everything's moved around and i spent like ten minutes trying to find where they hid the kingdom management screen. who puts Starland Kingdom behind three clicks? absolute madness. the dev says complete UI overhaul like it's a good thing but my muscle memory is screaming. anyway you're some dead emperor and this psychic bitch tries to steal your brain secrets but you reverse uno her and now you're both stuck sharing a body. classic mind control setup, nothing revolutionary but it works. the possession mechanic is basically just you making choices while she squirms about it. got to the Sophie war scene and the interrogation bit is actually decent, she's got that whole defiant princess thing going until you break her down. the sex scene after is fine, nothing mindblowing but the writing's got some bite to it. Azure's interrogation was better honestly, more resistance means better payoff when she finally cracks. the facial expressions on??? got updated which is good because before i couldn't tell her apart from Terri and kept getting confused about who was who. still not great but whatever. the resource theft scenes have new success and fail outcomes now. failed a wood raid and the scene was actually more interesting than succeeding, go figure. the attack formulas got tweaked apparently but i couldn't tell you what changed, numbers still go up and down. Magi Co Kingdom exists now i guess. two new sub cities for each kingdom but they feel like copy paste with different names. the patreon situation is fucked, they're cracking down on hypno content which is exactly what this game is built on. dev's jumping to subscribestar like everyone else. at least the core loop of conquer, corrupt, fuck is still intact even if the UI makes me want to throw my monitor.
