The interface is a boss fight. Yoko is supposedly taking you animal hunting but let's be real, the rifle mechanics are some flash game tier nonsense where you click circles that appear on screen. The animal sprites look like they escaped from a Windows 98 screensaver. Honest to god I spent three minutes clicking a deer that was already dead because the hit detection just gave up on life. This isn't a hunting sim, it's a test of patience designed by someone who secretly hates you. And then clothes start disappearing. She's got a crush, the description says. You are the densest protagonist in anime parody history because apparently you didn't notice the woman who volunteered to go alone with you into the woods is wearing basically a bikini and keeps stretching in ways that... look. The sex scenes trigger after you fail or succeed at enough minigames, I couldn't figure out which. There's this one arcade style segment where you have to match drill icons, it's straight out of a bootleg Bejeweled knockoff, and if you clear it she just mounts you against a tree. No transition. Just neck deep in porn logic. The animation loops are choppy but weirdly charming, like someone rotoscoped a hentai GIF from 2006. The repaint options, by the way, what the fuck. You can change interface color themes to "gurren" patterns which just turns all buttons into flame textures and makes text completely unreadable. I respect the commitment to theme over basic functionality. There's a rhythm minigame I cannot explain that involves Yoko's hips and the game's framerate tanking simultaneously. It's the most honest thing here.

You know that feeling when you're jerking off and suddenly the plot gets interesting? Deep Secrets v0.1 did that to me. Hale Wolfe is this corporate fuckboy with a dark past, and his sister shows up at his door in the middle of the night looking like trouble. I was ready to skip dialogue like I always do, but something about the way she looked at him made me pause. The writing isn't Shakespeare but it has this grimy tension that got under my skin. The sex scenes are interactive in a way that actually matters. You can replay them and choose different positions, different pacing, different ways to finish. I spent way too long experimenting with the cowgirl sequence, trying to see how many variations I could trigger. The models aren't hyperrealistic or anything but there's this raw quality to the animations that works. Something about the lighting in the bedroom scene made me forget I was playing a browser game. The sound design is minimal, which honestly helps. Nothing worse than bad moaning looping while you're trying to focus. What nobody tells you about this game is how much random shit you can do outside the sex. There's a working web browser, a TV with actual channels, even some minigames. I found myself watching fake news broadcasts for like twenty minutes, completely forgetting about the sister's weird request. The immersion is almost too good. I wish the choices mattered more though. There's this moment where you can either trust her or push her away, and both paths feel like they lead to the same place. That's probably intentional given the thriller tag, but it still bugged me. The patreon build is early, version 0.1, so maybe later updates will branch harder. For maximum spice, don't rush the scenes. Let the animations play out fully before switching positions. The game remembers your choices in weird ways. And whatever you do, check the laptop in Hale's office before talking to the sister. Trust me on this one.
